RETURN & REFUND POLICY

This policy applies to purchases made through Nearly Lucid and shipped within Australia.

1) Change of mind returns (14 days)
We accept change of mind return requests within 14 days of delivery if:
- the item is unused, uninstalled, and in original condition; and
- it is returned with original packaging (where reasonably possible); and
- you email us first and receive written return instructions before sending anything back.

Change of mind returns are NOT available for:
- custom commissions, made-to-order items, or personalised items;
- items that have been used, installed, modified, or damaged after delivery.

For approved change of mind returns:
- return shipping is paid by the customer unless we agree otherwise in writing;
- original shipping fees are refunded (choose one).

2) Damaged in transit / arrived damaged (email first + evidence required)
If your order arrives damaged, you must email contact@nearlylucid.com before a refund/replacement/repair can be assessed or approved.

Your email must include:
- your order number;
- a clear description of the damage;
- photos of the outer packaging (including labels), inner packaging, and the damaged item;
- a short video where helpful.

We will not assess damage claims submitted without the required evidence.
Do not dispose of the packaging until we advise, as it may be required for assessment.

3) Faulty items and Australian Consumer Law
If a product is faulty, unsafe, doesn’t work as intended, or doesn’t match its description, you may be entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law (repair, replacement, refund, or compensation depending on the circumstances). These rights are not limited to 14 days.

4) What we don’t cover (to the extent permitted by law)
We may decline a return/refund where the issue is caused by:
- misuse, accidental damage, incorrect installation, unauthorised modification/repair,
- using an incorrect power source, or
- failure to follow care and safety instructions.

5) Return instructions
Do not send items back without written instructions. We will advise the return address and any packaging requirements.
